Key Ideas in Babylon is the USA

• Progressive Revelation

  There are two approaches to understanding the Bible.     One approach is to consider that all scripture is of equal value.     So a verse from Genesis is of equal value to a verse in the Gospel of John.     The other approach is to consider the Bible as progressive revelation where content that is written later, is a clearer, more concise revelation of God's will.     This idea follows Paul's teaching in Ephesians.

  2 "assuming, by the way, that you know God gave me the special responsibility of extending his grace to you Gentiles.
  3 As I briefly wrote earlier, God himself revealed his mysterious plan to me.
  4 As you read what I have written, you will understand my insight into this plan regarding Christ.
  5 God did not reveal it to previous generations, but now by his Spirit he has revealed it to his holy apostles and prophets.
  6 And this is God’s plan: Both Gentiles and Jews who believe the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by God’s children.     Both are part of the same body, and both enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus.
  7 By God’s grace and mighty power, I have been given the privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News.
  8 Though I am the least deserving of all God’s people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ.
  9 I was chosen to explain to everyone this mysterious plan that God, the Creator of all things, had kept secret from the beginning.
  10 God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.
  11 This was his eternal plan, which he carried out through Christ Jesus our Lord." (Eph 3:2-11)

• Revelation Timeline

  Most commentators on Revelation consider the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments to be chronological, but everything else is parenthetical.    By parenthetical, they mean "out of time sequence".    This makes most of the content of chapters 4 through 18 to be speculative in terms of a timeline.    Instead, it is my contention that the timeline is fixed.    We have three overlapping time sequences from the beginning of the end-times until the second coming of Jesus.    The end-times begin with a war in heaven described in Revelation 12 and continue the second coming.    So there are no parenthetical time sequences; everything follows the timeline.    BUT because most of the events in Revelation are long-term events, the description can seem chaotic.

  

• End-times begin with a War in Heaven

  Most evangelical commentators believe that the end-times begin with the rapture and the start of Daniel's seventieth week.    That belief is incorrect.    The end-times begin with a war in heaven according to Revelation 12.

  7 "Then there was war in heaven.    Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels.
  8 And the dragon lost the battle, and he and his angels were forced out of heaven.
  9 This great dragon — the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels." (Rev 12:7-9)
  

  

• Babylon is the USA

  There is a great city/nation described in Revelation 17 - 18.    This city/nation is called "Babylon the Great" or "Mystery Babylon".    This city/nation will corrupt the wealthy of the world with sexual immorality.    We can now see how this sexual immorality will come about.

  AI (Artificial Intelligence) and robotics are going to radically change our world.    We are just at the beginning of the radical changes to come.    As the power of AI becomes adopted by the romance and porn industries, they will create a technology that will be utterly addictive to mankind.    You will be able to create a perfect romantic and sexual partner that will cater to your every need.    You will be able to talk to and interact with your AI companion in different ways.    For the very rich, they will have beautiful, synthethic humanoid robots.    For the rich, they will interact with their AI companion through AR and VR headsets.    The technology will be equally addicting to both men and women.

• Cosmic Disturbance

  12 "I watched as the Lamb broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake.    The sun became as dark as black cloth, and the moon became as red as blood.
  13 Then the stars of the sky fell to the earth like green figs falling from a tree shaken by a strong wind.
  14 The sky was rolled up like a scroll, and all of the mountains and islands were moved from their places.
  15 Then everyone —the kings of the earth, the rulers, the generals, the wealthy, the powerful, and every slave and free person— all hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.
  16 And they cried to the mountains and the rocks, 'Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.
  17 For the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to survive?'” (Rev 6:12-17)

  The cosmic disturbance will immediately precede the rapture and Daniel's seventieth week (the last seven years of the end-times).    The start of Daniel's seventieth week signals the time when God will begin specifically dealing with the nation Israel again.    This important event is referred to many times by various Old Testament prophets and thus provides an important timing syncronization point in understanding the prophecies in the Old Testament.

• Abomination of Desolation

  This important event in which the antichrist enters the Israeli temple, defiles it, and declares himself to be God again provides an important timing syncronization point.    It is mentioned in the book of Daniel, Gospel of Matthew, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, and obliquely in Revelation.   

  Many important prophetic events occur around the time of this event.

  • Antichrist causes the financial collapse of USA
  • Signals the midpoint of the last seven years
  • Begins the world-wide empire of the Antichrist
  • Begins the last seven bowl judgments
  • Antichrist declaring himself God, provides the reason for the nations to invade Israel in the war campaigns of Armageddon
